REBECCA PAIGE is a teaching artist and working actor. She started performing professionally at age 14 and graduated with honors from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She attended The College of Santa Fe, NM, as an acting major with a minor in dance. She has worked as a stage and voice-over actor throughout the country for more than 20 years. Ms. Paige lived and worked in New York City for seven years where she was a member of the Actors Equity Association. There, she performed in cabarets, co-created, and performed with, both Le Comedie De Parkside comedy troupe, and an original cartoon (an official selection for the New York Television Festival), and starred in her own concert at the Triad Theater, Manhattan. She also has experience backstage in lighting, set construction and stage management.
Ms. Paige returned to the D/FW theater community in 2014. Locally, some of Ms. Paige’s favorite roles include Lucy Harris in Jekyll & Hyde, Janet Van De Graaff in The Drowsy Chaperone, Miss Dorothy Brown in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Eva Peron in EVITA, (which earned her a Column Award Best Actress nomination), Hope Cladwell in Urinetown, Ado Annie in OKLAHOMA!, Pamela in Out of Order , and Marie in These Two Couples Went to Italy. She has also performed with Dallas Theater Center, The Dallas Children’s Theater, Richardson Theater Center, Theatre Arlington, Theatre Britain, The Firehouse Theatre, ONSTAGE in Bedford, and Uptown Theatre. She is a voice actor with credits from FUNimation, Inc, Cartoon Network and Actuality Films.
